1) play trivia games for vocabulary
2) to present a cultural presentation of a specific country
3) could be a great tool for competition (as a review tool prior to an assessment)
Where does tool fit in Digital Blooms and why?
The tool can be used in the following domains:
- remembering (vocabulary)
- understanding (teacher gives student a question, and students answer in a competition style, which checks for understanding)
- creating (students must create poster or video to share which shows their understanding of the given topic). Students can find pictures, or if the students have already traveled to a different country it is a easy way to share the information with the rest of the class.
Extras:
We had a lot of difficulty. Our original tool was Glogster, but we were unable to get that to work. We attempted to trouble shoot, but then decided to try a different tool. Carla and Susan mastered Linoit. Kate and Ashley attempted to utilize bubbl, but were faced with more difficulty that lead to no success.
